Michael Banahan - Director of Conveyancing

"I am the longest serving conveyancing lawyer in the Black Country. Qualified in the year 1978 from the university of Hull.

Over 40 years of experience will ensure that any issues are dealt with at their inception in a timely manner. Nothing will be able to catch me by surprise as I have seen nearly every trick in the book and know the book inside out."

Montuha Khatun - Conveyancing Solicitor

After graduating with my law degree from Birmingham University I started my legal career working at a local firm in Birmingham in their residential conveyancing department. I then joined Talbots law in 2014 as a paralegal and qualified as a solicitor in the summer of 2017.

I then made the move to Banahan Rogers Smith and have felt very much at home since I arrived. As the newest member of the team I can honestly say that the firm as a whole are extremely welcoming.

I carry the firms values in treating every client as I would wish to be treated myself.

"We have been clients of Mr Banahan for 20 years. He has been most professional and astute in his understanding of our needs. He has a pleasant manner with a touch of humour, we have always felt most comfortable in his presence."

Your home is probably the biggest financial investment you will ever make and whether you are buying or selling you do not want to encounter any nasty surprises such as:

-New road proposals close by

-Problems from past coal or limestone mining activities

-Rights of way across your land

-Finding our the previous owner did not have planning consent for work done

For this reason, every file that passes through our office is overlooked by the longest serving conveyancing lawyer in the Black Country. Michael Banahan has a wealth of experience and knowledge around conveyancing and aims to make every house move or land transaction as stress free, fast and efficient as possible.
